Can I work while attending school?

Yes. Hyphen’s hybrid schedule allows you to attend classes 2–3 days per week and complete theory online. Most students continue working their full- or part-time jobs while attending school.

Are classes available in Spanish?

Yes. Our eLearning platform delivers content in Spanish, and most of our instructors are bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.

Do you offer financial aid?

You only need to put a $500-$600 deposit to start class. Then we offer interest-free financing during your time at school.

How do I become a licensed cosmetologist in Florida?

To become a hair stylist: complete our 9-month cosmetology program which will prepare you to take the Florida state exam.
To become a Licensed Esthetician: complete our 2.5-month Esthetics program. All testing will take place at Hyphen. You do not need to sit for an external exam.
To become a Licensed Nail Technician: complete our 2-month Nail Technology program. All testing will take place at Hyphen. You do not need to sit for an external exam.
To become a Licensed Massage Therapist: complete our 6-month massage program which will prepare you to take the MBLEx exam.

How do I transfer my license to Florida?
