When you type “beauty school near me” into Google, you’re probably imagining a new future—one where you can work with your creativity, help people look and feel their best, and build a career that excites you every day. At Hyphen Beauty School in Orlando, we make that vision possible.
Whether you’re drawn to hairstyling, skincare, nails, or massage, Hyphen offers programs that are designed for today’s students: flexible, affordable, and focused on real career outcomes.
Convenience is a major factor when it comes to choosing a beauty school. You need a program that’s close enough to attend consistently, but also one that offers timings that work for your schedule.
Hyphen Beauty School directly faces I-4 at the Lee Road exit. Because the school is directly off the exit, it is a short commute from anywhere down the I-4 corridor: Orlando, Alafaya, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Pine Hills, Altamonte Springs, Sanford, Apopka, Metrowest, Poinciana, Kissimmee and surrounding areas.
But location is just the beginning. Since most of the classes at your beauty school only run 2-3days per week, we make it possible to pursue your esthetics license without quitting your job or putting your life on hold. Here are some other factors that make a strong beauty school to consider:
Flexible Schedules – Our programs only run 2 or 3 days per week so most students keep their existing jobs while going to school.
eLearning platform – Lectures and quizzes delivered online so your time on-campus is focused on hands-on practice.
Hands-on learning – Time on campus is focused on practical work. The guidance from our instructors will prepare you for the workforce
Affordable tuition – our prices reflect the efficiency of the program. Our tuition is half of what comparable schools charge.
Small class sizes – capped at 20 students for more one-on-one instructor support.
Bilingual instruction – Courses available in English and Spanish.
High placement rate – Over 95% of Hyphen's students land great jobs within 3 months of graduation.
Hyphen is more than just one program—we’re a complete beauty and wellness academy. Depending on your passion, you can choose from:
Learn haircutting, coloring, styling, nail services, and basic skincare. Our cosmetology program prepares you for a wide variety of salon and spa careers.
Focus on skincare with training in facials, waxing, makeup, and spa treatments. Perfect for those who love helping others achieve healthy, glowing skin.
Specialize in manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, and nail art. Nail techs are in high demand in Orlando’s vibrant salon scene.
Develop skills in Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Massage therapists enjoy careers in spas, resorts, and wellness centers across Central Florida.
Most of our students are career changers or working adults. That’s why we designed our programs to fit your lifestyle. Instead of requiring you to be in school five days a week, our programs run just two or three days per week, with the rest supported by our eLearning platform.
This hybrid approach lets you balance school with your job, family, or other commitments—while still graduating on time.
Graduating from a beauty school in Florida opens doors to countless careers. Depending on your program, you could become:
Hair stylist or colorist
Esthetician or skincare specialist
Nail technician or nail artist

Massage therapist in spas, resorts, or private practice
Brand representative or beauty product educator
Entrepreneurs running their own salon or spa
Orlando’s thriving tourism and hospitality industry creates especially strong demand for beauty professionals. From resort spas to local salons, opportunities are everywhere.
