Hyphen’s Esthetics program is built for students with a busy schedule. Classes meet two days per week based on the following schedules:

  • Monday & Tuesday, 9am – 7pm

  • Wednesday & Thursday, 9am – 7pm

  • Saturday & Sunday, 9am – 7pm. Join the waitlist if weekends work best.

Lectures and quizzes are delivered through our online eLearning platform, so in-person class time is focused on real practice with clients. Content is available in English and Spanish, and our instructors are fluent in both languages.

Tuition and Payment Options

Total tuition for Hyphen’s Esthetics Program Orlando is $4,540, which includes:

  • 2.5 months of expert instruction (220 hours)

  • Online Learning Platform

  • Dermalogica Student Kit and Lash Kit

  • All Florida state board license and registration fees

Only $600 is due at enrollment. The remaining balance can be paid interest-free while you’re in school—around $1,100 per month.

Note: Federal student grants and loans do not apply for any 220 hour Esthetics program in the State of Florida. This is because federal funding only applies to programs above 600 hours. However, most graduates recoup their tuition within three months of working in a spa or salon.

Do I really need a license to be a makeup artist in Florida?

Yes. Florida requires anyone charging for makeup services to hold an esthetician license. One of the key factors is sanitation ... making sure that a makeup artist does not pass an infectious disease from client to client.

Do I need previous skincare experience?

No. Hyphen will train you from zero experience to licensed professional in just 2.5 months.

Do I have to take a state exam?

No. Beginners are welcome. You only need a high school diploma or GED by graduation.

Is financial aid available?

Federal grants only applies for programs that are above 600 hours. Since Florida only requires 220 hours for a Facial Specialist license, federal funding does not apply for most schools in Florida.

We offer interest-free payment plans so you only need to pay $600 at enrollment and the balance can be paid monthly while you are in school. You will not have any student debt when you graduate
