Why Oak Ridge Residents Choose Hyphen's Esthetician School

  • Licensed in Just 10 Weeks - While other beauty schools extend programs to 5-6 months to maximize tuition, we follow Florida's exact 220-hour licensing requirement with zero filler. Attend just two days per week for 10 weeks and you're licensed.

  • 2-Day per Week Schedule - Classes meet either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday from 9am-7pm. This schedule works well for our students who continue working while attending school.

  • Affordable $4,540 Tuition - Includes 220 hours of instruction, Dermalogica professional kit, lash kit, online learning platform, and all state registration and licensing fees. Start with $600 down and make interest-free payments of about $1,100/month while you’re in school. Graduate debt-free.

  • Hybrid Learning = More Hands-On - Complete lessons online and use campus time for hands-on: facials, waxing, makeup, and lash/brow work in our supervised student spa.

  • Dermalogica Partnership School - Hyphen is a Dermalogica Partnership School, giving you access to professional-grade products and certification opportunities that make your résumé stand out.

  • Small Classes, More Attention - Each cohort is capped at 20 students, ensuring individual coaching and real feedback from instructors.

Career Opportunities for Oak Ridge Estheticians

Oak Ridge's rapid growth and proximity to the Orlando resort corridor make it an ideal launchpad for esthetician careers. Licensed estheticians can work in:

  • Resort & Day Spas – Oak Ridge is just minutes from International Drive, Millenia, and Universal Orlando, where resorts and luxury spas consistently hire licensed estheticians.

  • Medical & Dermatology Clinics – Medical and cosmetic practices along John Young Parkway and Sand Lake Road employ estheticians for advanced skincare and pre-treatment services.

  • Bridal & Event Makeup – With nearby venues in Downtown Orlando and Dr. Phillips, estheticians can build thriving side businesses in wedding and event makeup.

  • Lash & Brow Studios – Boutique lash bars in The Florida Mall and Millenia Boulevard are booming, creating opportunities for skilled lash and brow technicians.

  • Mobile or Suite Ownership – Salon suites near Oak Ridge Road, Orange Blossom Trail, and Conroy Road are ideal for independent estheticians ready to open their own spa businesses.

Oak Ridge's proximity to Disney and Orlando's tourism industry creates strong demand for licensed estheticians. Starting salaries range from $40,000-$48,000, with experienced estheticians in resort spas or running their own businesses earning $65,000-$95,000+.

Many students continue with the Full Specialist Program to expand their career opportunities, as many larger spas prefer versatile specialists who can perform both skincare and nail services.
