The Skill Behind Hydradermabrasion
Hydradermabrasion is a multi-step facial, usually done with a machine that pairs liquid serums with gentle suction. As the esthetician, you run each step in order.
Because each step sets up the next, the order matters as much as how you do each one. Knowing why each step comes where it does is part of the skill.
What You'll Learn in Hydradermabrasion Training
The class walks through each step of the facial in order.
Skin prep and cleansing
Every treatment starts with clean skin. You'll practice prepping and cleansing so the rest of the facial works on a clear surface.
Exfoliation
Next, you take off the layer of dead skin. You'll learn how exfoliation fits into the treatment and sets up the steps that follow.
Extraction
With the surface cleared, you work on the pores. You'll practice extraction as part of the full facial, not as a separate service.
Hydration
After exfoliation and extraction, the skin needs moisture. You'll learn to finish the treatment by putting hydration back into the skin.
Aftercare
You'll learn to tell your clients how to care for their skin after the visit, in plain words they'll remember.
