Looking for a cosmetology school near St. Cloud, Florida? You don’t have to travel far. Hyphen Beauty School in Winter Park is about 45 minutes away, right off I-4 at the Lee Road Exit 88. Our 1,200-hour cosmetology program helps you earn your Florida cosmetology license in just nine months, with a 3-day weekly schedule and tuition that’s less than half the price of the big-brand academies.
Whether your dream is to style hair in Lake Nona, work in resort spas near Disney World, or build a client base right here in Osceola County, Hyphen gives you the tools, training, and mentorship to make it happen.
3-Day per Week Schedule - Classes meet Monday through Wednesday from 9am-7pm. This schedule works perfectly for St. Cloud residents who want to continue working while attending school.
Graduate in 9 Months - Most beauty schools require students to attend 4–5 days a week for over a year. Hyphen’s hybrid model lets you meet Florida’s 1,200-hour requirement in just nine months, while attending class only three days per week. That means you graduate faster and start earning sooner.
Hybrid Learning Model - Lectures are done through Hyphen’s eLearning platform so campus time is spent doing what matters most— hands-on practice doing cutting, coloring, styling, facials, nails, and real-client services.
Easy Commute to Winter Park - Take Florida’s Turnpike → Osceola Parkway → I-4 West → Lee Rd (Exit 88). The campus is immediately off the exit facing I-4,.
Small Classes for Individual Attention - Each cohort is limited to about 20 students, giving you personalized feedback and plenty of practice time.
Access to Multiple Specialists - Unlike schools that only have hair instructors, Hyphen's cosmetology students also learn from our licensed esthetics and nail technology instructors. This gives you a more well-rounded education and makes you more valuable to employers.
Bilingual Instruction - Courses are available in English and Spanish, and our instructors are fluent in both languages.
