The Skill Behind Classic and Hybrid Lashes
Classic lashes put one extension on one natural lash. Hybrid lashes mix classic extensions with light fans of several extensions. Both rely on the same core skills.
You have to plan the look, separate each natural lash cleanly and attach each extension so it lasts. This class is built around those skills.
What You'll Learn in Lash Certification 1
The class covers five parts of every classic and hybrid set.
Lash mapping
Mapping is the plan. You'll learn to lay out lengths and placement across the eye before you apply a single extension.
Isolation
Each extension goes on one natural lash. You'll practice separating that lash cleanly from the ones around it.
Classic and hybrid application
You'll practice applying classic extensions and building hybrid sets.
Retention
Retention is how well extensions stay on. You'll learn how your work affects how long a set lasts.
Aftercare
You'll learn to explain aftercare, so your clients know how to care for their lashes at home.
